Water Change Tube Support For Aquarium

    It is recommended that a partial water change is made every week in the aquarium.

    Between 20% to 50% volume of water, depending on the type of aquarium in question.

    In my case I change about 30%.

    My water changes are done through gravity and a tube. One end of the tube is in the water in the aquarium and the other end of the tube is in the place where you want to pour the water. when the tube was inserted into the aquarium, two things very often happened:

  • The tube tended to fall out of the aquarium during water transfer;
  • Sometimes i was careless and ended up exchanging too much water.

    To solve these problems for good, a piece was made and printed.

    the piece is attached to the aquarium through the thickness of the glass, and holds the tube inside the aquarium so that it does not fall easily.

    Here are some photos of the final piece:

    To solve the problem of taking out more water, the support for the tube was divided into 4 zones (10%, 20%, 30% and 40%, of water volume) and as the tube is positioned in these 4 zones, it will only 10% or 20% or 30% or 40% of the water volume will be removed for this specific aquarium.
