Hello! I am Joel. I am from 🇵🇹 Portugal and currently live in 📍 Covilhã.
I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Beira Interior.
My master's dissertation focused on Electromagnetic Transducers for Energy Harvesting Through Vibration, involving electronics design, embedded programming, PCB development and rapid prototyping.
I enjoy developing multidisciplinary engineering projects that combine electronics, embedded systems, mechanical design and software development. My projects typically involves ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Sensors, Python, Databases, SolidWorks and 3D Printing, taking ideas from concept to fully functional prototypes.
As a hobby I enjoy, 🐠 aquariums (aquascaping), 📷 nature photography, 🚴 cycling, 🎣 fishing, 🏊 swimming, and 🪴 plants.
