Rims and Wheels

Another hobby I have is Radiomodelling. I decided to buy an RC. After much thought, I ended up buying this kit, "MAVERICK MT 1/10 RTR ELECTRIC"

Fig.1 - Model Maverick Monster Truck 1/10.

The Monster Truck originally brought 2 pairs of common tires to the land, where they work very well. Good tires to work on the land.

It was here that a problem arose, there are two places in particular that the car left much to desire the nivel of traction...

These places are: on the beach (sand) and snow / ice.

A common wheel was developed in which it can adapt the two types of tires, one designed especially for traction on the sand, and the other designed especially for traction on ice.

In the following picture (Fig.2), we have the commom rim, for the 2 tipes of tires. Will be 3D printed using ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) material.

Fig.2 - The Rim.

In figure 3, we have the tire made for sand. Will be 3D printed using filaflex material.

Finally we have the tire made for ice, which will also be 3D printed on filaflex material.

These tires were designed to have traction when riding on snow and also on ice.

In the tire design exist 36 holes, are the holes that we are going to screw 36 screws, leaving the sharp end of the screw out, thus allowing traction, for example on ice.
