Temperature Sensor For Aquarium

The temperature sensors for the aquarium on the market tend to have a very large error or are analogical.

So i decided to make a temperature sensor myself.

I defined that the objective would be to measure the temperature of the water and measure the ambient temperature of the room where the aquarium was, thus allowing a comparison.

The material used for the construction of this sensor was:

  • 1 x Atmega 328p;
  • 1 x LCD 16x2;
  • 1 x Pushbutton;
  • 2 x Switch;
  • Lots of wires;
  • 1 x Temperature sensor;
  • 1 x Waterprof temperature sensor;
  • 1 x Potentiometer.
  • Two temperature sensors were used, one was isolated thus allowing it to be 100% waterprof, and another in its normal state, that will measure the room temperature.

    The sensors used were: - DS18B20.

    The LCD will indicate the temperature of the water and the temperature of the room.
