White Piece Printing

Yes, yes, I know, the piece is orange, not white... As you can see in the images below.

But, this piece is based on what has already been discussed , it was simply 3D printed but using Nylon material.

This was my first 3D print in Nylon.

It was printed in orange, the only color available using Nylon material.

It was printed on Bambu Lab and took about 1h10minutes in total.

I will use Nylon PA6, which has superior toughness and ductility.

Nylon PA6 has high toughness, which means it has a great capacity to absorb energy before breaking. Compared to more brittle materials like ABS. Nylon PA6 tends to be ductile, meaning it will visibly (sometimes significantly) deform and stretch before breaking. This deformation absorbs the impact energy, protecting the structural integrity of the part for longer.

An interesting fact, a 1kg roll of Nylon PA6 filament costs almost 63€. It was also the first time I'd worked with such an expensive roll of filament.
